We had so much fun last year we have decided to do it again! It is time for our fourth Christmas light tour at the Festival of Lights in Spanish Fork.
We will meet in the Allens parking lot at 6:00pm (340 S Main St, Springville). From there we will convoy down to Spanish Fork where we will enjoy the Festival of Lights in Canyon View Park. There will be a $7 charge per car.
After soaking in the lights we will stop somewhere for dinner or dessert (depending on how hungry you are).
Dress warm and be sure to dress up your car with lights as well. Battery operated colored lights can be found at most retailers that sell Christmas decorations.
If you cannot bring your Model A, come in your modern car and have fun.
The Northern California Regional Group will host the 2018 MAFCA National Convention in Sparks Nevada. Put this event on your 2018 calendar and join us in the Silver State. Be sure to sign up for the Early Bird newsletters that will be sent out every few months so that you can keep up to date on the upcoming convention.
Also be sure to check out the articles in The Motometer on the newsletters page. Each month will feature a highlighted venue or event from the convention. Start planning now and sign up early as spaces will fill up quickly the closer it gets to the convention.
This will be a hub and spoke tour of the Redrock Canyonlands of Southern Utah and Northern Arizona. The tour will be based out of Kanab, Utah and travel through national parks and monuments of the area. The Canyonlands is home to miles of river canyons, mesas, buttes, slot canyons and brilliant red rock faces and peaks. We will tour through Bryce Canyon, which sits at the northernmost part of the Grand Staircase and stretches to the north rim of the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, and the Grand Staircase-Escalate National Monument. Registration materials will be available in The Restorer and on the MAFCA website in early 2019.
